Lucia Nakiyega has spent over a decade at the intersection of data and decision-making, helping institutions in Uganda's health and financial sectors turn complex evidence into sharper strategy.
At aBi Finance, where she serves as Investment Impact Manager, Lucia shapes how the institution understands and communicates its value, across ESG and sustainability reporting, impact measurement, and executive-level performance insights.
Before moving into sustainable finance, she built her technical and leadership depth at the Makerere University Walter Reed Program and Management Sciences for Health, where she led impact assessments, designed predictive analytics tools, and drove reporting system improvements across donor-funded health programmes. Across both sectors, her work has consistently done the same thing: bring rigour to the questions that matter most to leadership.
Lucia holds a Master of Statistics and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Makerere University and is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
She is passionate about developing into an executive leader who moves beyond data analysis to using evidence as a strategic tool for decision-making, guiding business performance, governance, and sustainable social impact.
